Is everybody BLIND ?????
Almost every european car manufacturer produces beautiful, sporty or classic Cars in Diesel Version nowadays with milages of 50 to 70 MPG. 50 % of all new cars in Europe ARE Diesels !! They meet Environmental Standards, even better than the American standards (which are on paper only but not enforced) Florida has ELIMINATED Emission Control years ago. 1997 or so)These people above could have, in much shorter time, a much better result as they want to achieve in 2016. Millions will be wasted in research and trying to improve on what IS ALREADY EXISTING BETTER THAN WHAT THEY WILL PISS THE MONEY OUT OF THE WINDOW FOR.
A hint for these clever researchers: just copy the Europeans, you are better off, and nobody laughs his butt off because of you.
Just to let these smart-a...s know:
Volkswagen has new on the European market the Model VW L1 TD
1.38 liter/100 Km = 170 Mp Imp.Gal
AND YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT LAUGHABLE
39 GpM !!!!

With the due respect
Sigi

Comment on Biofuels industry to triple in size by 2020

One major thing we should appreciate is the availability of feedstock especially from Africa and Latin America, the outlook may be a little bit too optimistic but the demand for energy is growing at an alarming rate. we need to look beyond the fosils to get to the promised land, therefore the future is bright no matter what.

Comment on Biofuels industry to triple in size by 2020

Groe A. We have learned a lot about this plant over the last 2 years. I would love to share information with anyone growing in the Tropics.

I am going to do some pruning today and try and replant the cuttings. I am 100% organic with the crop so getting the cuttings to take off might be fun. I will keep you all posted.

Comment on Airlines to achieve CO2-neutral growth by 2020: IATA

It is a positive news for the Biofuel developer that the important key player from the Aviation industry would committ to have biofuel being part of the GHG reduction scheme.

The key issue is the cost of Biofuel will definitely more expensive than the mineral fuel .

The question is whether the aviation industry is preparing to pay for such higher cost of Biofuel which is the major expences of the aviation industry.

Without any significant incentive scheme for the Biofuel .
It will be hard to drive the aviation industry to switch /replace part of their moneral fuel into Biofuel.
